Getting To Hood River
Hood River is 45 minutes east of Portland. If you're coming from out of town, we'd recommend flying into Portland International Airport. If you're coming from Seattle, Hood River is about a 3.5 hour drive down I-5.
For those of you who will be in town on Thursday, we are hosting welcome drinks at Ferment Brewing Co. on Thursday evening beginning at 6pm. All are welcome!
Please Note: We are planning to camp out by the fire pit on the plaza outside the brewery. Drinks can be purchased and brought outside, but food is only available to eat inside. Solstice Pizza company is a block down the street if you want a pie on the deck!
Ride the Bus
We've arranged transportation to and from the wedding. School buses will depart from Double Mountain Brewery at 3:00pm and will stop at the Best Western at 3:15pm on the way to Tin Roof Barn. If you miss the bus, you will be responsible for your own ride to the wedding. There is parking at the venue if you'd prefer to drive, but you cannot leave your vehicle overnight. Following the reception, buses will drop off at the Best Western before returning to downtown Hood River and the after party at Whiskey Tango. Whatever you do, please don't drink and drive.
What to Do
There's no shortage of things to do in Hood River. Go golfing, take a hike near Mt. Hood, visit some apple orchards, and top it off with some great beer in town. If you're feeling really adventurous, Hood River is known for it's kite surfing on the Columbia River.
We're planning to keep the party rolling even after the reception is over. If this is something you're interested in, we've reserved space at Whiskey Tango in downtown Hood River beginning at 10:30pm. Our wedding transportation will take guests back to downtown where they can join us at Whiskey Tango for the after party.
We are thrilled that you're joining us for our big day. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
